Introduction

As an agency that focuses on R&D and solutions development in info-communications (or infocomm) technology, we have deep in-house technological expertise that spans a good spectrum of disciplines within the infocomm field, to allow us to overcome complex technological problems and open new strategic frontiers. We work closely with local research institutions, defence R&D and support organisations, as well as leverage on commercial expertise to develop robust solutions for our customers.

CSIT has established the Technology Innovation Fund (TIF) as a vehicle to help further its goal of cultivating innovative ideas in infocomms by reaching out for ideas from the industry. Through funding external R&D endeavours, we want the TIF to expose CSIT to fresh ideas and cutting-edge research work that might be of potential value to our MINDEF customers. We recognise the value in engaging and tapping the creativity and energy of talented individuals and companies outside CSIT.

We are interested in offering TIF funding for good-quality and relevant R&D proposals from individuals, groups, or companies, regardless of location or nationality.
