TIF Application Process
Step 1: Contact CDC Office
Prior to proposal submission, contact CSIT’s Corporate Development & Communication (CDC) office. When there is a match with our requirements, CDC will notify the proposer to submit the initial proposal.

Step 2: Initial Proposal Submission
The Initial Proposal is a brief write-up of the R&D problem and the expected deliverable. If the Initial Proposal is accepted, we will request a second submission – a Detailed Proposal.

Step 3: Detailed Proposal Submission
CDC should receive the Detailed Proposal within 60 days of our acceptance of the Initial Proposal. This Detailed Proposal will elaborate on details such as the project phasing as well as the resources required. Once the Detailed Proposal is accepted, CSIT will enter into a Research Contract with the successful party to fund the research, and the R&D project can then commence.

Where the value of the project is less than $70,000, a simplified Research Contract may be used.
