Track the latest infocomm technology developments and leverage opportunities arising from technology advances to develop innovative concepts that derive a strategic advantage
Conduct protocol study of telecommunications and network protocols to identify risk and security vulnerabilities to enhance security posture
Study network-level transmission patterns and application-level (i.e. mobile and web applications) communication patterns to detect and investigate anomalous behaviours
Exploit analytic technologies for structured/unstructured data to enhance analysis of information
Exploit and harness technologies across different domains to constantly add value to project outcomes
Translate R&D findings to proof-of-concepts (i.e. modules and techniques) to demonstrate the operational values in security project implementations.
Job Requirements:
Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
Knowledge of telecommunications, Internet communications protocols, IP networking, VoIP, datalink protocols preferred
Interests in communications technology advancements and security implementations. Able to look beyond conventional boundaries, while considering practical realities
Enjoy programming; Experience in C/C++, and Python programming preferred
Knowledge of data science/analytics would be an advantage
Good communication (written and oral) skills
Possess strong analytical and conceptual ability
Able to work independently and/or as part of a team
