The InfoSecurity Challenge (TISC) is proudly organised by CSIT.

What is TISC? 

TISC is an online challenge organised by CSIT since 2020. It provides opportunities for interested Singaporeans to put their cybersecurity and programming skills to the test by solving challenging puzzles against the clock.

The Challenge for TISC 2021

A major cyber attack has occurred, disrupting several of Singapore's critical infrastructure and cyber space. Come join CSIT and other fellow Cybersecurity experts on this journey to investigate and hunt down the dangerous, mischievous and malicious actor, PALINDROME.


There will be a series of challenges from level 1-10 for you to complete in order to put a halt to PALINDROME's operations.

The levels will cover topics from Web Pen-testing, Forensics, Reverse Engineering, Binary Exploitation, Cryptography, Mobile Security and IoT.

29 Oct 2021 (2100H) - 14 Nov 2021 (2100H).

Participation & Registration

TISC is an individual challenge and open to Singapore citizens only. Employees and seconded staff of Defence Technology Community (DTC) are not eligible to participate. DTC consists of Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT), Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), DSO National Laboratories, and several MINDEF entities.
