Project Overview/Background
Cloud services such as Google's suite of services, or Microsoft 365, are becoming more prevalent as businesses pivot towards them for cost-effectiveness. This study aims to understand the security implications of adopting the use of such services.
Scope & Deliverables
One or more of the following:
- Perform network and/or code analysis to understand the authentication and data handling of selected cloud services and examine them for possible security weaknesses.
- Demonstrate how security weaknesses in selected cloud services could lead to actual data leakage or security compromise through a proof-of-concept.
Prerequisites/Skills Required
- Proficient in Python and JavaScript.
- Possess a basic understanding of networking, moderate/good understanding of common internet protocols used by cloud services.
