Project Overview/Background
- The objective of this project is to study the security enhancements and features implemented or changed in EulerOS.
- Through this project, the intern will:
- Learn how to identify different Linux security mechanisms
- Develop tools for security testing
Scope & Deliverables
- Familiarise and understand EulerOS and, if necessary, CentOS or Red Hat Linux.
- Identify the vendor-specific changes (e.g. optimisations, software, security configurations) made in EulerOS.
- Documentation of findings or insights gained during R&D of the project.
Prerequisites/Skills Required
- Basic Understanding of Linux OS
- Basic Understanding of Operating System Concepts
- Basic Understanding of Computer Networking
- Basic Knowledge of Python, C and Bash/Shell will be helpful
