Vulnerability Research on Windows (Project)

Project Overview/Background
Through this project, you will get the opportunity to study and discover real-world vulnerabilities to ensure systems stay secure. You will study and develop cutting-edge tools that will aid in the discovery and assessment of vulnerabilities. Where necessary, you will be provided with training to onboard you on your project.
Scope & Deliverables
- Research into publicly reported vulnerabilities of Windows/Windows-based applications.
- Research into tools that can flag out potential vulnerabilities.
- Technical document: You will be required to read up on existing literature, perform reverse engineering, and document all details of their discovery.
- Development of Proof-of-Concept (POC) code to demonstrate the security impact of vulnerabilities.
Prerequisites/Skills Required
- Knowledge of C/C++ and Python
- Experience in reverse engineering and assembly would be an advantage
